The Boxcar Suite return with their third full length LP and second for Magnaphone records with album building upon their Americana infused Power Pop sound, this time with a greater emphasis on the latter. It’s a guitar riff driven manifesto that takes aim at the powers that be and documents life during one of the most divisive times in history. The band draws on the “densely melodic” sounds of influences such as Teenage Fanclub, Superdrag and Sloan, blending melodic folk song with blistering guitars and glittery soundscape.
