Harold Hensley is a familiar character among the Magnaphone fold, with releases by the seminal bluegrass oriented outfit Repeating Arms and his beautifully sparse solo recordings. ‘Devil Below’ ushers in the next era for Harold with his new band - Still Life Drive, a cherry picked group of SW Ohio musicians whom you’d recognize from other Magnaphone groups - Dan Stahl, Dan Spaugy, Matt Spaugy, and David Payne.

Halloween is the perfect time to release ‘Devil Below’ which Harold describes as “a song to replace therapy and one that found me when the high road felt like a detour. It’s a reminder that most beautiful things can be ugly when the curtain is pulled back.”
